How is this different from other forums?

Freedit is a lightweight and privacy focused open source forum written in rust with no javascript used, thereby reducing potential vulnerabilities. Others might be able to speak more on the technical aspects of what makes Freedit different than other forums.

Is there any PSE tech used?

My understanding is it is Freedit with no additional PSE tech involved, and anyone on the internet can create an account and post here. But I could be wrong and am curious to know as well. Also curious if there are any PSE integrations planned.

Good questions, it would also be interesting to see what, if anything, we have documenting the decision making process of going with Freedit over something else and why.

The idea is to pack this with cryptography. Signatures for badges, gated threads with ZKPs etc..

Obviously tons of things missing!! (UI, tagging, gating, anon posting, reputation, etc)

But starting with redesign in the UI and deploy on the existing freedit :)
