i am for scoping out in the beginning (non priority features, to be confirmed based on feedback from users/researchers):

And we keep only those features as MVP requirements for the new interface:

  • basic email/username/pwd auth
  • posting and commenting
  • rendering of markdown and latex

Solo posts are like X (Twitter) threads

“regular” posts are like Reddit, you need to join an Inn (subreddit) to comment/interact/post

Not the best UX, heritage from Freedit :) but can be improved a lot with renaming/redesign the UI!
